Deepti

I am an animator and illustrator, currently living in Goa with some cats who adopted me. I love chocolate milk, animals and trees. My work ranges from illustrations created for conservation communication work, to work for mental health, and also music videos, whimsical characters and drawings capturing my odd thoughts and moods. I like telling stories about everything and nothing, through films, comics and drawings, and also whatsapp voice notes with elaborate hand gestures you can’t see.

A few words about your thoughts on the artwork & song:

In front of Ditty’s house in Goa, once stood a magnificent rain tree. I tried to draw this magnificent tree, and other trees like her which were taken down, and Ditty singing to them. In this realm, the trees live on forever, and us, among their shade.
